School is back in full swing, so the first thing I'd like to say is thank you! I've noticed reduced speeds and nothing but consideration for parents and kids in school zones and I'm hoping this continues for the rest of the school year.

I've recently had the pleasure of sitting in on the Food Coalition meeting (new to me), and the Downtown Business Association AGM - which I've been associated with as a business owner on 1st Avenue for over 7 years with Pressland General. Attending these meetings is a constant reminder of what we can achieve when we work together for the greater good of our residents and those that are part of our community as visitors and relationships. Some of these meetings are open to the public, so if you are interested in learning about something in specific in our city, I can put you in touch. 

When we are a part of making our cities better by attending these meetings, it is interesting, enlightening and inspiring to be at the table for many of the committees, groups, thinktanks and boards - and I'll always believe that it is a privilege to call Mission home.
