I’m very excited to share that I’m running for Mission City Council in October, 2026.

If you know me, you know I’m often jumping into projects that make Mission a better place. Running for council feels like the natural next step in that journey. I’ve spent the last several years investing my time and energy into Mission. It’s something that’s been growing over years of being involved in our community, working alongside local businesses, volunteering with both residents and organizations that care deeply about Mission, and having countless conversations with people who simply want to see our community thrive and be a great place to live, work, and play.

For those who don’t know me, I’m not someone who sits on the sidelines. Whether it’s running my business at Pressland, serving on the Board for many years with the Chamber of Commerce, mentoring and helping create opportunities for young entrepreneurs, facilitating a free skateboard club, organizing TEDxMission and TEDxAbbotsford, or contributing to economic development initiatives with the City of Mission, I’ve always believed that if you care about your community, you should be willing to roll up your sleeves and make it happen.

I simply and truly believe that Mission has incredible potential.

We’re surrounded by natural beauty, amazing people, passionate business owners, and families who have chosen to build their lives here. But we also have challenges that require thoughtful leadership, practical balanced solutions, and a willingness to bring people together.

I believe in supporting local business, encouraging responsible growth, investing in young people, creating opportunity, and making decisions that will benefit not just today’s residents, but future generations as well.

I also believe that some of the best ideas don’t come from council chambers; they come from conversations with the people who live and work here every day. 50,000 brains are better than 7.

My goal isn’t to have all the answers. My goal is to continue to listen, to continue to learn, to continue connecting with people across our community, and to continue to work hard on their behalf. 

Mission deserves leadership that is collaborative, forward-thinking, and focused on building a community where families can thrive, entrepreneurs can succeed, and our local economy can grow in a way that reflects the values of the people who call this place home.

I’m very proud to put my name forward, and over the coming months I’ll be sharing more about my ideas, listening to yours, and having conversations all across our great community.
